Hair Services

I hereby agree to the following terms and conditions for receiving a hair-cut, colour & chemical treatment for my hair at Geetanjali Salon.

1. I have had the process and possible results of the aforesaid procedures adequately explained to me, and I have been given adequate opportunity to make requests as per my wish and ask follow-up questions.

2. I am aware and I understand that receiving any hair service, including hair-cut, colour & chemical treatment can, in some individuals, cause an allergic reaction, even when all due procedures are followed.

3. I understand that the overall health and condition of my hair depends on a number of genetic, medical, behavioral and environmental factors, which are not determinable by the personnel providing me the services at the salon.

4. I understand that the personnel allocated for providing the services to me, will provide the services to the best of his / her abilities, after determining the condition, strength and texture of my hair to the best of his or her abilities. I understand that the said personnel is not a medical practitioner and thus, he or she cannot determine any underlying factors which are invisible to the naked eye and which may impact the result of the services taken by me.

5. I also understand that previous treatments, chemical services, hair color, and my hair home-care routine may have an effect on my hair, which may not be visible to the naked eye. It has been recommended to me by the salon / personnel allocated to me, that I fully disclose my previous treatments and hair products that I use at home to my stylist prior to the treatment, so my stylist can come up with the best possible solution for my hair.

6. I further understand that chemical treatments have different effects on different hair types and colors, and thus, any chemical service might still not give the desired results and may damage my hair, despite best efforts of the personnel providing the services to me.

7. I accept the risks involved in the aforesaid procedures, and I have taken the said risks voluntarily after due verification of the quality of services provided by Geetanjali Salon, as I am satisfied with the same.

8. In view of the aforesaid, I understand and agree not to hold Geetanjali Salon, their employees, agents, franchises, directors, officials, hair technician, stylists, or other personnel, responsible or liable in the event of unexpected or undesired results. I understand that Geetanjali Salon may suggest further alterations or corrections to me to achieve the best results, however, the same shall be provided to me at my own expense.

Skin Services

I hereby agree to the following terms and conditions for receiving services for my skin at Geetanjali Salon.

1. I have had the process and possible results of the aforesaid procedures adequately explained to me, and I have been given adequate opportunity to make requests as per my wish and ask follow-up questions.

2. I am aware and I understand that receiving any of the aforesaid skin services, may, in some individuals, cause an allergic reaction, even when all due procedures are followed.

3. I understand that the overall health and condition of my skin depends on a number of genetic, medical, behavioral, lifestyle, dietary and environmental factors, which are not determinable by the personnel providing me the services at the salon.

4. I understand that the personnel allocated for providing the services to me, will provide the services to the best of his / her abilities, after determining the condition of my skin to the best of his or her abilities. I understand that the said personnel is not a medical practitioner and thus, he or she cannot determine any underlying factors which are invisible to the naked eye and which may impact the result of the services taken by me.

5. I also understand that previous treatments, medical ailments, allergies, and my home-care routine may have an effect on my skin, which may not be visible to the naked eye. It has been recommended to me by the salon / personnel allocated to me, that I fully disclose my previous treatments and skin products that I use at home to my therapist prior to the services, so that he / she can come up with the best possible solution for my skin.

6. I further understand that skin treatments have different effects on different skin types, and thus, any service might still not give the desired results and may damage my skin, despite best efforts of the personnel providing the services to me.
